Fallen in LOVE
27 July, 2024
I have thought about this word many times now. Whenever I read a Colleen Hoover book, there is a quote where she questions the word FALL often used for describing love or stating love.
“You're looking at me like you fell in love with me.""I didn't fall in love with you. I flew.”
Or
She just described it as a sad word because we often fall and sometimes get hurt.
But when I think about it, I believe it's a perfect word used for a feeling as beautiful as love. Because just like a fall from a valley or stairs, it's unexpected. It's sudden and immediate and we can never control it. It just happens. Just like we fall. A word which is often used for talking about getting hurt becomes so beautiful when we use it for LOVE.
Like yes, I have fallen for you. I have fallen in love with you when I didn't want to and I expected it the least to happen this with you but I did. I did fall for you, irrevocably and irrationally and unexpectedly. And now that I know. I know I love you so I never want to let you go. EVER.
It sounds so real and good and full of emotions. Doesn't it???
