The Reading Journey : A Book Review
I have read almost hundreds of books till date and explored many genres starting from romance to fantasy and then crime and thriller and mystery. The credit for the beginning of my reading journey goes to the movie "The Twilight Saga". When I first watched its first part, I was obsessed. Then I searched it on Google, all about the cast and everything and then I got to know that the movie is actually an adaptation of the books. That's when I ordered my first ever novel. I read it in maybe three days which was something to flex upon. Then my papa went to New Delhi and I asked him to bring the series. Till then I read the Twilight Saga once again. And then when I got the rest of the books I read them, then re read them. I actually believed that no book other than this one can be that good. I was wrong, obviously.
The best paranormal fantasy novel I have read till now is the Crave series by Tracy Wolff. It has all the elements that a reader possibly wants in a good book. The series has 6 books in total and not for a minute I was bored. It was happening and have amazing character building throughout the books. The main character Allison was emotional and weak in many ways considering she just lost her parents but at the end when you look back you can clearly see how much she has grown in many ways. She was one of the best characters. The MMC was Hudson Vega, and trust me when I say this he was a charm. From not liking him in the beginning, you'll starting loving him just madly. The best part about him was he was the most caring male lead I have ever came across. Once you read the books, you will agree with me on the fact that he is the best boyfriend anyone could have. Y'know, the kind of boy girls dream of.
Coming to the writing style, it was simple yet mind blowing. I could literally imagine all the adventurous scenes as if they were happening in front of me. I got introduced to Aurora Borealis and when I searched it, I was amazed. It's one the best things about reading books that you get to know about so many new things.
That's it for this one. If you have read this book, let's connect and you tell me the best part of the book in the comments. And if you read the book after reading my blog, well... let me know and I'll be glad.
Happy reading :)
